Makeup remover! It’s so important to remove your makeup before going to sleep. While we are sleeping the skin regenerates, heals and naturally replenishes so it’s important to keep it makeup free. Bioderma’s Sensibio H20 Micellar Water is the most efficient makeup solvent, and we use it in every single facial treatment in my salon.

SKINCARE ROUTINE?

In the mornings, I wash my face in the shower with Nuxe Comforting Cleansing Milk. I then apply Ultra MD Brightening serum followed by a couple drops of Shemana face oil and Ultra MD Bio Repair Moisturiser. On my make-up free days, I’ll apply Bioderma Photoderm BB Cream with SPF 50+.

At night, I double cleanse my skin using firm, thorough massage movements. The first removes oil, dirt and make-up so I like to use an oil or cream cleanser to emulsify and remove all of the surface build up on my skin. The second cleanse actually cleans my skin and pores so I usually follow with a gel or foam cleanser to deeply cleanse and purify my skin. My night routine involves using a more active serum, and my night moisturiser is much richer than my day cream because at night our skin absorbs product best during the regeneration period of sleep. My current night serum is an active Vitamin A serum by Ultra MD A2 Anti Ageing Serum, a medical grade treatment that my skin loves! It smoothes texture and makes my skin radiant.

My Dad taught me to have 1 min cold rinse offs in the shower before getting out. It’s great for skin, circulation and reinvigorates my being.

YOUR FIRST BEAUTY RELATED MEMORY?

Growing up my family would spend the entire school Christmas holidays camping by the beach on the Central Coast. I have fond memories swimming, beach combing and scrubbing my sister’s back on the water’s edge of the ocean with wet sand and she would scrub mine in turn. We still love to do this today, I love a thorough body scrub!

Bioderma Cicabio Pommade. This product is excellent to use on damaged or stressed out skin to assist with healing and repairing. I apply this after peels or post laser treatments when skin is looking a little irritated and it immediately soothes the skin and relieves discomfort.

MORNING ROUTINE?

Mornings are my time to give back to myself and set myself up for the day. I get up at 6am to meditate and then I go for a run around Centennial Park or train at the gym, shower and have a protein smoothie. I start work at 8am either with clients on a shoot or working on my business.
