But first, a little about Fedua: created only recently in 2015, Fedua is a contemporary, innovative nail and cosmetics house based in Italy. Inspired by a trip to Morocco, and drawing on his experience in the family-run paint business, Luca Gonzini, founded the company on the “concept of beauty that respects health”, which of course, perfectly aligns with the Jocelyn Petroni philosophy.

Perhaps it’s Luca’s background in house-hold paints, or perhaps it’s a generational gift, but whatever the origin, the kaleidoscope of colours that Fedua boasts as part of it’s gel and enamel collection are beautifully curated and absolutely spot-on. From the perfect nudes, to romantic reds and a chic, trans-seasonal olive, the Fedua colour palette is unsurpassed for range, with rich pigmentation and of course, a molten shine. My favourite look for summer is a soft and subtle ombre shimmer effect - a sophisticated take on the glazed 'Hailey Beiber', subtle shimmer is the new nude - and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for a gentle nod to festive fun.
The key to achieving the perfect manicure is in the health of the nail plate itself, and the collection of hand care products from Fedua acknowledges this with a curation of luxury hand masks, anti-aging hand cream and divine cuticle oils which have become a welcome addition to my daily routine.
